Xavier Jackman, CEO and Founder
As the CEO and Founder of Cigar City Title, Xavier J. Jackman brings a distinct blend of legal acumen and deep-rooted community pride to the Florida real estate industry. A resident of the Tampa Bay area for over 25 years, Xavier leverages his background as a licensed Florida attorney to ensure that every transaction is secure, compliant, and handled with the utmost professionalism.
Xavier earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida’s Fredric G. Levin College of Law in 2003, where he received academic honors including a book award in trial practice. Prior to law school, he graduated from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts with a degree in English Communications and a minor in Philosophy.
Beyond the closing table, Xavier is deeply invested in the Tampa community. He has spent over a decade coaching for the Keystone Little League, fostering teamwork and sportsmanship in the next generation. When he is not in the office or on the baseball diamond, Xavier enjoys attending Tampa Bay sporting events, alpine skiing, and spending quality time with his children.

Nick Kolev, CFO
With nearly two decades of specialized real estate law experience, Nick Kolev is the legal engine behind Cigar City Title’s ability to navigate and resolve complex transactions. Serving both corporate and individual clients across Tampa Bay, Nick focuses on ensuring your real estate closings are executed efficiently and accurately, no matter how complicated the file.
Nick has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2006, earning his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law. Prior to joining Cigar City Title, he served as Managing Attorney for a major creditor's rights law firm. There, he gained extensive litigation experience representing banks, lenders, and mortgage servicers.
This deep background in creditor's rights, foreclosure defense, quiet title actions, and contract disputes gives Nick a massive advantage at the closing table. He understands the intricacies of the title process from every angle, allowing him to proactively anticipate legal hurdles, cure complex title defects, and keep your closings on track.
